Ah that's ok least it's still around. I was thinking about playing with the client some more and figured I would say hi. Going to see if I can export the height map of a map, like tatooine, into the unreal engine. I saw that someone had figured out how to get the models into blender so maybe they can be imported into 3ds max too for a base to create a higher poly one. Eh just some thoughts.

I have been spending most of my free bits keeping the old Tabula rasa stuff alive. I host and own infiniterasa.org and it's a super slow process as with any emu project.

Yeah pop over to modthegalaxy.com, that's the SWG Communities neutral platform for client and tool development discussion. There's plenty of people that would love to chat about it and help with it.

Have not really done much on it yet. I got some of the tools from modthegalaxy, next is to start messing with the client files.

cool, I though about statrting a rebuild project rather than emulation (a few of us seem to have had this idea at the same time I think its very exciting)

how are you finding unreal??

Unreal is nice overall. Tell the truth here it is June 2016 and I have just now be able to kinda relax to do some things. I graduated in December, bought a house, had a daughter, and got into a career since I have been MIA here. I am no coder for the server but I do have the skill set to create a PHP based portal for the game now.

I remember way back the talk about creating website 2.0 along with the portal to manage the game server. So if I have some free time I will build a prototype website for ANH. I will investigate and test some ideas.

that sounds amazing dude :) we could use something like that to allow QA to run a TC properly :D

I was going over the database on github and a ton of stored procedures are used to do nearly everything. Should I use the current stored procedures to change values or is direct manipulation permitted?


Rough Draft---
Game Portal Specifications:

Must run on LAMP and WAMP/WIMP(Windows, IIS, MySQL, PHP)
Install on same server as the game server



Public Functions:
Game Account Registration ( currently automatic if I remember correctly )

CSR/GM Functions:
Delete characters from accounts
Set CSR Status of others


Administrator Functions:
Change blue frog items ( maybe? )
